Jussie Smollett is currently on trial for staging a hate-crime attack on himself.
Abimbola and Olabinjo Osundairo, the prosecution’s star witnesses, allege that Smollett hired them to stage the attack. For his part, Smollett claims the duo is lying to avoid prosecution.
Smollett’s attorney floated the idea Abimbola and Smollett used to date. Abimbola denied they had dated but conceded that they had visited the gay baths together. Steamworks bathhouse in Chicago’s Boystown neighborhood.
Smollett’s attorney asked if he remembered gay pornography being played on the televisions inside the spa.
“I don’t recall,” Abimbola said.
“You don’t recall seeing gay pornography? You don’t remember masturbating with him?” Smollett’s attorney asked.
Abimbola said, “No.”

An insider had previously told the NY Post about their visits to this particular bathhouse
“They used to party together and he had a sexual relationship with [Abel]. They went to this affluent Chicago bathhouse multiple times and they had to show ID. It’s known as a bathhouse where a lot of affluent black gay men hang out. There should be a record [of their visits],”
UPDATE: Jussie Smollette insists he and Abimbola Osundairo had a romantic relationship. Telling jurors that he and Abimbola went to Steamworks Chicago (at least twice), got a private room, and allegedly did more drugs and “made out.” See the video below for a news report on Smollette & Osundairo going to the baths together.
