This past Tuesday (February 10) a man was found deceased inside the Flex Spa Atlanta. Officer Ralph Woolfolk says “No foul play suspected at this time and cause of death has not been determined.”

According to Flex Spa Atlanta general manager, Chris Meche, the man in question was a longtime customer. Who did have a history of heart problems. In all likelihood died of natural causes.

From Project Q:

An Atlanta police spokesperson said officers responded to Flex after the man’s body was discovered inside the sprawling facility on 4th Street next to the Downtown Connector. But police do not suspect foul play.

“No foul play suspected at this time and cause of death has not been determined,” Officer Ralph Woolfolk says.

The man, a longtime customer, had a history of heart problems and likely died of natural causes, according to Chris Meche, Flex’s general manager. Meche declined to discuss other details of the incident pending notification of the man’s family.

An investigator with the Fulton County Medical Examiner wasn’t available for comment on Tuesday. Flex is part of a company that bills itself as a gay men’s social club with sister locations in Cleveland, Los Angeles and Phoenix.

  1. Hopefully bathhouse members will get to know each other and team up and look out for each other. If this had happened there, the death could have been avoided. As long as “natural causes” happened, then I think every one will understand that.
