Bathhouse Article Causes Reader Backlash. Toronto’s Gay BiWeekly, xtra Toronto<\/u><\/strong><\/a>, had recently published an article about a Bathhouse Shrink. <\/p>\n

Along with the AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT)<\/u><\/strong><\/a>, Marco Posadas<\/u><\/strong><\/a> runs a program, called Towel Talk<\/u><\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n

It’s purpose is to “target men who have fallen through the cracks of the mental health system.”<\/p>\n

It’s other goal is to raise awareness and reduce HIV and STI transmissions.<\/p>\n

Now you would think this program and Marco Posadas<\/u><\/strong><\/a> would be praised by the gay community. But just the opposite.<\/p>\n

Once the article appeared in xtra Toronto<\/u><\/strong><\/a>, several readers posted comments rather negative about the program.<\/p>\n

Some even call it ‘self-serving’ of Marco Posadas<\/u><\/strong><\/a>, questioning his credentials as a therapist\/counselor.<\/p>\n
