Just as Chicago\u2019s Man\u2019s Country closed its doors, another infamous bathhouse is on the hit-list. Numerous reports indicate that Seattle\u2019s Club Z<\/strong><\/a> is on the chopping block. <\/p>\n

\nA building that embodies some of the histories of Capitol Hill \u2014 including its never ceasing appetite for tearing down and building back up \u2014 is up for sale.<\/p>\n

Here is the realtor\u2019s description for the $2.15 million listing for 1117 Pike:<\/p>\n

Built in 1906 this three story commercial building is for sale for the first time in almost 40 years. The Pike Building is located just above downtown Seattle in an A+ Capitol Hill location. This offers a Buyer the rare opportunity to purchase a pride-of-ownership property located only 3 blocks from downtown Seattle.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe property offers endless potential for an investor to redevelop the property or maintain the existing use,\u201d the marketing copy concludes.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Now just because the building is up for sale, doesn’t mean the bathhouse will go with it. The business and the building are two separate entities. One of three things might happen. Someone could buy the building and allow the same rental arrangement with Club Z to continue. The business could just shut down, if the new wants to evict them. Or CLub Z could just move to a new location. <\/p>\n
